MUSEUM CLOSED INDEPENDENCE DAY, FLEA MARKET APPROACHING

The Finney County Historical Museum at 403 S. Fourth will be closed July 4 in observance of Independence Day, but will be open the weekend of July 2-3. The historic William Fulton House, located southwest of the museum in Lee Richardson Zoo, will also be open July 2-3.

Regular summer exhibit hours at the museum will resume July 5, including 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Fulton House hours are 2-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is free to both the museum and Fulton House.

The museum staff is also preparing for the Seventh Annual Flea Market, a festival of antiques, collectibles, art and crafts, set for 8 a.m.-2 p.m. July 9 outside the museum in the zoo.

The museum will also be closed July 11, the Monday after the festival, and the Fulton House will be closed the day of the event.
