A Wild Affair at Lee Richardson Zoo

“A Wild Affair”, Lee Richardson Zoo’s largest and wildest “Fun-Raiser” of the year, celebrates ‘Year of the Monkey’ Saturday September 24, 2016. The evening takes place under the stars in Wild Asia where you will enjoy live music and adult beverages while sampling delicious foods from some of the regions best restaurants and caterers. Delight in an exciting live auction, a large silent auction, and unique performances from a sword swallower, dragon dancers and more.

Lee Richardson Zoo will be closed during regular hours September 24 to prepare for the festivities but doors open at 6 p.m. at the Finnup Center for Conservation Education, located at 312 Finnup Dr. Food is served until 8 p.m. Tickets are all inclusive and just $40 per person or $50 if purchased after September 14 but they must be purchased in advance, as they will not be available at the door. Guests must be 21 to enter. Purchase tickets in advance at Lee Richardson Zoo, Patrick Dugan’s Coffee House, and Ward’s Garden Center or online at www.folrz.org . Funds raised will go toward a new home for the spider monkeys and red ruffed lemurs at Lee Richardson Zoo.
