The National Junior College Athletic Association Board of Directors and the Championship Events Committee convened last week in Richmond, Va., for its annual meeting and to determine the location of future national championships.

The NJCAA selected the Finney County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Buffalo Dunes Golf Course to serve as the host site for the 2020 NJCAA Women’s Golf Tournament in partnership with Garden City Community College.

The 2020 NJCAA Women’s Golf Tournament will be held May 10-14, 2020 at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course. The tournament will include four-rounds (72 holes) over 4 days starting the 11th and practice rounds on the 10th.

The history of this event shows 130+ participants competing each year and “we expect the same response in participation in 2020,” said Roxanne Morgan, Executive Director for the Finney County Convention and Visitors Bureau. “It’s an honor to partner again with NJCAA for another national event creating opportunities and economic investments in Finney County and the surrounding areas.”

“We are excited to continue to build together for future events,” said Colin Lamb, Athletic Director for the Garden City Community College. “The CVB, Buffalo Dunes and GCCC have done a great job in collaborating in past events, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for all parties involved”

Jason Hase, Golf Pro at Buffalo Dunes says “that it’s a fantastic event and we are looking forward to hosting the event here at Buffalo Dunes.”

“A big thank you to NJCAA for continuing to put their trust in us to hold quality national events.” said Morgan
