Finney County Fair Golf Cart/ATV Rules and Regulations

  1. Only those carts authorized by the Fair Board will be allowed to operate on Fair property. The primary use of golf/ATV carts is for the operation of county fair. If you have a specific reason for bringing a cart and wish to apply for a sticker this application needs to be completed for approval by the Fair Board.
  2. All carts and operators must be registered with the Finney County Fair Board. Permits must be displayed in a highly visible area. No scooters, motorcycles, bicycles unless approved by Fair Board.
  3. All golf cart operators must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.
  4. The maximum speed limit is 15 mph. Any unsafe operation will result in suspension of cart rights at the fairgrounds.
  5. All carts are restricted to designated camping areas and established roadways. No unauthorized carts will be allowed in the show areas or restricted areas. Please refer to the map issued with the golf cart permit for restricted areas.
  6. Golf carts are required to yield to pedestrians and livestock at all times. Approach livestock carefully!
  7. No golf carts can be operated without lighted headlights from one-half hour after sunset to one-half hour before sunrise.
  8. Golf carts for the disabled are to be used for transporting disabled individuals only. The disabled individual must be present while the cart is being operated.
