This lovely little cafe is attached to a Garden Center, so you’ll be surrounded by freshness! Breathe deep and think about getting the soup…

Escape the Clock

Imagine yourself touring a historic bunker with your friends. You think everything is fine. Then you hear a loud buzzer and you realize, you’re trapped! Now, you and your friends need to figure out how to escape before time runs out.

Dinner

Plank’s BBQ

Dry off and head to Plank’s for some authentic Kansas BBQ. Get there for the dinner buffet and you’ll be in for the night, we promise!

Didn’t get enough aquatic fun at the Big Pool? Don’t worry! Parrot Cove is a water lovers’ dream! With slides, fountains, and tons of water features, Parrot Cove is the perfect place to while away an afternoon!

Traditions is a REAL soda fountain. Excellent sandwiches and an environment like you’re an extra in Back to the Future.

Finney County Historical Museum

Speaking of jumping back in time, the historical museum provides a glimpse of what life was like in Finney county as an early settler and beyond.

Just a little ways outside Garden City, you’ll find one of the oldest privately owned buffalo herd in the US. It’s like getting a safari here on American soil, and the bison are truly magnificent creatures.

Tired from your day of chasing bison? The Flat Mountain brewhouse is a great place to unwind with the best combination in the world: Burgers and beer.

Garden City Arts

If you’re still raring to go after sampling the wares at Flat Mountain consider spenging some time at Garden City Arts. This art studio provides a good look at some of the finest art happening in Southwest Kansas.
