Vintage Market Time & Stand Up for Preservation

The Finney County Preservation Alliance will host two events April 30, 2016. “Vintage Market Time” is an antique show that will take place 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Stevens’ Park. Antique vendors or merchants who offer vintage-style goods/services (hand made jewelry, homemade jams etc.) are wanted for this event. Booths are $25 each and measure 15 feet by 15 feet. Vendor forms are accessible at Inge & Bros. Emporium or via e-mail at [email protected].

Old-fashioned entertainment continues that evening with “Stand Up for Preservation,” a live comedy show. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. at the Elk’s Lodge (905 E Kansas Ave.). The show features a mix of regional comedy talents including: Kyle Borger, Sean Collins, Cody Cundiff, KC Johnson and Mathias Sockemer. Mat Hurst will entertain as emcee. Tickets are sold in advance for $10 at Inge & Bros. Emporium or at the door of the Elk’s Lodge for $15. Must be 18 years old to enter. Comedy show contains adult language. Beverages and popcorn will be available for purchase.

Inge & Bros Emporium is located on the ground floor of the Windsor Hotel (413 N. Main St.) and is open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (closed over the noon hour) Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Contact the Preservation Alliance for more information: 620-640-0470. Generated funds from both events will be contributed to the Windsor Hotel restoration project.
