One of the best holiday traditions in Garden City is the annual Christmas parade, stuffed to the brim with all of your holiday favorites, including festive lights, hot cocoa, and of course Santa!

In the midst of a global pandemic, we all need some joy in our lives, and we’re happy to announce the Christmas Parade will still take place this year, although in a slightly modified fashion.

This year’s parade will be operating in reverse! No, we don’t mean Santa will be driving reindeer backward down Main Street.

Each of the holidays floats in all their glory will be parked at the Finney County Fairgrounds so that you and your family can drive by in the comfort and safety of your vehicle. There will even be festive holiday music you can tune into on your car’s stereo!

You don’t want to miss this year’s event. Bring the entire family on December 19 at 7:00 pm at the Exhibition Parking lot. Entrance and exit routes will be marked and visitors will be asked to drive slowly through the parade.
