“EVENING IN THE PAST” SOLD OUT AT FINNEY COUNTY MUSEUM

The “Evening in the Past” Program at the Finney County Historical Museum has sold out. No seats are left for the May 21 live re-enactment of Garden City co-founder “Buffalo Jones” on the museum’s patio.

Reservations were available for 88 seats at the event, which features hamburgers grilled on-site, cowboy music by Al Miller and cowboy poetry by Keith Downer, along with the re-enactment of Jones by Lary Cole of Holcomb. However, the last seats were purchased about 4:30 p.m. May 11.

The museum has started a waiting list for anyone who wants to be notified if there are cancellations. Those on the list will also be notified when the 2017 “Evening in the Past” is scheduled.
